Official support channel

Use the private form above for ordinary product feedback and technical problems. For account-access problems, privacy requests, security reports, and reproducible technical problems that cannot be safely shared in the form, email support@gamerbff.com.

GamerBFF is operated with limited support capacity, so no response time is promised. Urgent security reports are prioritized.

Start with a short description, the affected feature, when the problem occurred, and safe reproduction steps when available. Include only the minimum account information needed to route the request.

General and non-support contact

For general or non-support communication, use contact@gamerbff.com. Use the support channel above for account, privacy, security, or technical help.

Alpha access and wait-list requests

When places are open, you can create an alpha account with Steam or GitHub without supplying an email address. Check the homepage for current signup availability. When places are full or paused, existing profiles and valid invitations can still be used.

Joining the alpha wait-list does not create an account or guarantee access. Invitations are sent in small batches. Email support@gamerbff.com from the address you submitted if you want a wait-list request removed before account creation. Do not send invitation links or tokens.

Self-service account controls

If you can sign in, Account, Connections, and Gaming Profile let you:

  • reviewing active sessions and removing sessions you do not recognize;
  • reviewing or removing linked sign-in methods when another usable method remains;
  • disconnecting supported gaming sources and resetting source-specific imports in Connections;
  • exporting supported gaming-profile information from Gaming Profile using Export JSON;
  • reviewing, correcting, or deleting gaming-profile data; and
  • permanently deleting your GamerBFF account from Account.

Read the Privacy Policy’s retention and deletion section before deleting data or disconnecting a source.

Sensitive account changes require recent sign-in verification. If account deletion is unavailable even after you enter the confirmation phrase, check the verification instructions in Account. For email sign-in, use Confirm your Email sign-in and Verify with password. Complete any password or sign-in step only on the site, never in a support message.

Companion memory and usage

Automatic gaming memory is on by default; you can turn it off in Account anytime by clearing Automatically save supported gaming updates. Look for a saved confirmation in the conversation or review Gaming Profile. If GamerBFF says an update was not saved, it has not changed your profile. You can review, correct, or remove saved details in Gaming Profile.

Companion shows estimated personal usage for the calendar month, resetting at midnight UTC on the first day of the next month. Personal conversations and private helpers count toward that allowance; reusable public research uses a separate shared allowance. A request needs enough remaining allowance to reserve its work, so it can become unavailable before the percentage reaches 100%. Other service limits or temporary capacity can also apply. Include the displayed message when reporting a problem, without copying private conversation content.

Protect sensitive information

Do not post or send passwords, sign-in or password-reset links, one-time codes, session cookies, access tokens, private provider responses, or full exports. GamerBFF support should never ask for your password.

Public project issue trackers and unofficial social accounts are not approved support or privacy channels. Do not attach full exports; send the smallest safe description needed to explain the problem.

Third-party account help

GamerBFF cannot recover, unlock, or change an account operated by a game platform, sign-in provider, email provider, or other third party. Use that provider’s official support channel for problems that exist on the provider’s service. Disconnecting a source from GamerBFF does not delete the third-party account.

Legal and privacy information

The Privacy Policy explains what GamerBFF handles, where information can go, and which deletion controls are available. The Terms of Use explain the rules for the limited alpha, including signup when places are available.
